The “Baking for a Better Future” project started in 2019 with the setup of ‘bake X dignity’ for youth in collaboration with the Dignity for Children Foundation. This project aims to empower vulnerable individuals with baking skills for entrepreneurship or employment, and to support their training needs through the establishment of baking studios.
In 2024, PPB partnered with Thrive Well Sdn Bhd to conduct the KAMI Sembang PLUS Programme, a two-day workshop focusing on the mental well-being of the trainees. The programme strengthened emotional resilience and financial literacy, covering stress management, family dynamics, and financial planning while fostering a supportive peer community.
This project has been strengthened through group-wide collaboration. FFM Berhad supports the trainees by conducting flour workshops, while PPB Properties and GSC helped provide real-world business exposure by organising bazaars and kiosks for the trainees to market and sell their baked goods.
