Group Managing Director

Mr Lim Soon Huat, 61, is a Non-independent Executive Director and Group Managing Director of PPB Group Berhad.

Mr Lim was appointed to the Board on 29 May 2008. He has many years of management experience in the fields of finance, commodities trading, consumer goods manufacturing and marketing, hotel investments, sugar cane plantation and sugar milling operation.

He held various senior executive positions in the Kuok Group of companies in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia. He sits on the boards of FFM Berhad, Ponderosa Golf & Country Resort Berhad and Kuok Foundation Berhad.

Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Mr Jeremy Goon

Chief Executive Officer, FFM Berhad

Mr Jeremy Goon Kin Wai @ Jeremy Ruan Jianwei, 54, is a Chief Executive Officer of FFM Berhad (“FFM”) and also serves as chairman/director of FFM’s subsidiaries and associates.

He is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer of Wilmar International Limited. Mr Goon has management experience in edible oils processing operations, plantation management, trading, brand management, marketing and sustainability and has held several senior positions in the Kuok group of companies since 2002. He serves on the boards of several local and overseas entities amongst them, Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd and PT Gunung Madu Plantations (Indonesia). Mr Goon also serves in various capacities in trade organisations such as the Malaysian Palm Oil Association and Malaysian Palm Oil Council.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Management Science & Law from Keele University, United Kingdom.

Ms Koh Mei Lee

Chief Executive Officer, Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd

Ms Koh Mei Lee, 60, is the Chief Executive Officer of Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC) and is overall in charge of the entertainment business of PPB Group.

Ms Koh joined PPB Group Berhad in 1990 and held the position of the Group Head of Corporate Affairs of PPB overseeing the investor relations and corporate affairs matters of PPB Group from 2000 until 2022. Additionally, she was the Group Chief Sustainability Officer of PPB from 2018 to 2022. Ms Koh was appointed as Director of GSC Group in February 2001 and has been Chief Executive Officer of GSC Group since January 2002.

She graduated from the University of Montevallo, USA with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Finance.

Mr Low Eng Hooi

Chief Executive Officer, PPB Properties

Mr Low Eng Hooi, 60, is the Chief Executive Officer of PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd. He has more than 35 years of experience in property development.

Prior to joining PPB Group, he held executive positions in major conglomerates namely Keppel Land, Boustead Holdings, Khazanah Group and Shangri-La group of companies.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Housing, Building & Planning and Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Science Malaysia. He is a registered architect with Board of Architects Malaysia and a corporate member of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia.

Ms Yap Choi Foong

Group Chief Financial Officer

 

Ms Yap Choi Foong, 61, is the Group Chief Financial Officer since November 2017. Prior to joining PPB Group Berhad as Head of Corporate Strategy and Planning in March 2017, she was the Group Chief Financial Officer of RHB Banking Group.

Ms Yap also serves on the board of Techbond Group Berhad.

Ms Yap is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom. She has over 30 years working experience in auditing; finance and accounting; corporate finance; corporate & strategic planning; and merger, acquisition & integration.

Mr Mah Teck Keong

Company Secretary

Mr Mah Teck Keong, 63, is the Company Secretary of PPB Group Berhad and has been with PPB since 1989. He oversees the corporate secretarial functions of PPB and various subsidiaries. Mr Mah is an associate member of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Ms Oh Sok Tuan, Amanda

Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Ms Oh Sok Tuan, 52, is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer since May 2019.

She has 19 years of leadership experience in multinational settings, operating in diverse industries such as shipping, insurance and chemical manufacturing, prior to joining PPB Group Berhad. She has vast experience in leading organisational change encompassing people capability enhancement, leadership and talent development, cultural transformation and building employer value proposition as enablers to sustainable business success.

Ms Oh holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Business Administration in Human Resources Management from University of Wales.

Ms Goh Wei-Min

Group Chief Risk Officer

Ms Goh Wei-Min, 52, is the Group Chief Risk Officer since August 2015.

Ms Goh is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a certified Business Continuity Professional. She has over 25 years of experience in risk management, system implementations, business continuity, consulting and governance. She was formerly with government-linked companies, one of the Big Fours’ risk advisory consulting firm & multinational corporation.

Ms Goh holds a Bachelor of Arts (Econ)(Honours) Accounting & Finance from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Ms Lee Mei Fong, Audrey

Group Head of Sustainability

Ms Lee Mei Fong, 43, is the Group Head of Sustainability since January 2023.

Ms Lee oversees sustainability and CSR inititiatives of PPB Group. She has over 20 years of sustainability programme implementation experience within financial institutions, multinational companies and not-for-profit organisations.

Ms Lee holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Industrial Biology, from the University of Technology Malaysia.

Mr Seng Kian Aik

Group Head of Internal Audit

Mr Seng Kian Aik, 53, is the Group Head of Internal Audit since January 2021.

Mr Seng is a member of Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia, Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining PPB Group Berhad, he has held senior positions in Internal Audit of Sunway REIT and AirAsia X Berhad and has worked in professional assurance services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr Seng has over 25 years of working experience in internal and external audit.

Ms Anantha Selvi

Group Head of Legal & Compliance

Ms Anantha Selvi, 54, joined PPB Group Berhad in 2024 and is presently the Group Head of Legal & Compliance department.

Ms Selvi has over 20 years of experience as an advocate, solicitor, and in-house counsel at a public-listed corporation and qualified company secretary. She leads the Group’s legal and compliance function, driving Groupwide compliance with applicable laws and regulations, overseeing legal and compliance risks, and strengthening governance frameworks to support the Group’s business objectives.

Ms Selvi holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of London, United Kingdom and a Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia.
